The band’s annual concert was another success – the whole band should be proud of their performance.   We were delighted to be joined by the Deputy Lieutenant of Surrey, Mrs Mary Zoeller as our guest. 

The band performed an ambitious programme including nine new pieces which the band had learnt over the preceding 3 months. The programme had been put together to showcase the breadth of the band’s repertoire, covering traditional marches, classical tunes, music from the TV and big screens as well as selections from three great bands – Abba, the Beatles and the Jersey Boys.  Evie Dawes performed an exquisite clarinet solo – Stranger on the Shore.  Feedback from the audience was really positive and their was a real buzz throughout the evening.  Well done to everyone.
