Marching with the Band of the Scots Guards
On Saturday 19th October the band travelled to Wellington Barracks in central London, the home of the Guards divisions of the army. The band were able to watch the Band of the Scots Guards prepare for their regular duty leading the 'Changing of the Guard' parade at Buckingham Palace. Then after a short rehearsal, they were able to join the band in marching on the forecourt of Wellington Barracks. As always, the musicians of the Scots Guards band were friendly and welcoming, and the day was certainly a memorable one.
