DofE Bronze Award Presentations
This year 7 Explorers have achieved their Duke of Edinburgh’s Bronze award
through scouts. A further 3 have passed their Bronze award and 2 their Silver
award at school. Congratulations to everybody who achieved an award which
were presented at the groups recent ‘Carols Around the Campfire’ event.
To achieve the awards participants must complete a period of community
volunteering, learn a new skill and take part in a physical activity. In addition
participants must complete a multi-day (2 days for Bronze & 3 days for Silver)
Expedition.
