This years Carols Around the Campfire was another huge success. The evening began with a candle lit walk through the grounds and woodland into the campfire circle whilst the band was playing. After a selection of Christmas carols everyone moved in doors for refreshments and the band continued to play with a selection of more informal Christmas songs.

 

During the evening several awards were presented including 6 members of the Explorer Unit who received their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh awards. The 2018 highlights video was also shown and the evening ended with the traditional 12 days of Christmas.
